In case you missed it, TAI WOFFINDEN is WORLD CHAMPION.
Celebration beers are called for.
We must organise a get together.
Oh, and we had our own little competition.

There is nothing quite like finishing on top of the podium in the final event, particularly when you are top of the tree for the season.
Tai could not quite make the podium in Torun but check out Mr Looby:

Thanks Peregrinner and all you other Falcons fans for a most enjoyable Fantasy GP in 2013
Looking forward already to 2014 when I hope to improve my performance - 17/21 is not acceptable.
Any ideas yet on the other two 'picks' for next year as well as Holder and Gollob?

Miedzinski did his chances no harm.
Top Swede is Freddie Lindgren. If Bomber was given a chance, he has to be given his.

That leaves Kasprzak (third Pole), Jonsson (second Swede) or Vaculik (encouragement for the lesser nations).

We will have to ask Mr Looby how to run a successful Fantasy Grand Prix campaign when we meet up for a drink.
There are some keen speedway followers who scored poorly this season.
Some people have been heard to mutter that it is all down to luck.
So next season, if you want to win, don't walk under ladders, always pick up a penny on the floor, don't allow black cats to cross your path and choose the lucky number 7 every meeting.

Many thanks for organising the GP competition - a bit of good fun as ever. As much as it hurts to say it, congratulations to Mr Looby. I obviously passed too much knowledge over to my son-in-law and didn't keep enough for myself.
Thanks again & look forward to a get together.
By the way Pere - KK is already through to the GP's from the challenge at Poole.

Cheers Nigel-I remember reading a post from you a few seasons back saying some times it is best to make your choice and make no changes-So I did exactly that- avoided the thread all season-cant even remember what they were-and only looked in before the last night and made an adjustment to try and overtake my CO-OP fellow worker from Cully ;D
