Cheers Nigel-I remember reading a post from you a few seasons back saying some times it is best to make your choice and make no changes-So I did exactly that- avoided the thread all season-cant even remember what they were-and only looked in before the last night and made an adjustment to try and overtake my CO-OP fellow worker from Cully ;D I did actually say that and I MEANT it. "Some times" not "Every time" as that is just idle laziness. Wooden Spoon fully deserved. You must let me know when your free nights are so that we can present it to you. |

Proposed Drinks:
Date: Friday 8th November
Venue: Georges Meeting House (will try and get upstairs)
Time: 19:30
This is a location in town so those without transport can still get here.
Reason: To celebrate a British World Champion and to present the Wooden Spoon. We are hoping to get a "How to win" speech from Mr Looby but he has promised nothing yet.
Post to let us know if you are coming along and we will then know who to expect.

Absolutely gutted to have to miss this - have just organised a weekend away before I saw the notice. Would have loved to have spent the evening with like minded people and raised a glass to Tai. Hopefully no one else can make it and you will have to change the date!!

Thanks for the invitation. Unfortunately the Loobys are busy on Friday. Mr Looby is currently working on a book entitled "How to Win" which will be out for Christmas! We already have the first book reserved for Mrs Claas as she really needs help! xx
