Exeter fixtures 2016

Apart from any fixtures listed on the "Shout Box" running along the top of the page, there are the following further meetings planned so far:-

3rd June - Midland Development League Select ( at the OTA )

24th June - Weymouth ( at the OTA )

15th July - Castleford ( at the OTA )

22 July - Somerset Junior Rebels ( at the OTA )

28th July - Isle of Wight ( Away ) ( NL level meeting 15 heats )( Solent Trophy )

12th August - Buxton ( at the OTA )


All meetings are 6 heat second-halves apart from IOW.

Notes:- 1 ) Away meetings at Buxton & Stoke cancelled
2 ) It is hoped to rearrange the Home leg of the Solent Trophy later in the season. More details when available.

The Falcons line-up for the away meeting against Isle of Wight Warriors on 28 July is as follows:-

I gather that it is now very unlikely that the rained-off first leg of the Solent Trophy will be restaged, due to financial constraints.

Update on remaining fixtures :-

12 August - Castleford ( at the OTA )
19 August - Devon Demons ( at St Boniface Arena, Plymouth )
26 August - Long Eaton ( at the OTA )

I gather there will be no further meetings after the above this season.

The planned second-half against Crayford on 5 August at the OTA was cancelled.

The Falcons will race a six heat second-half at Eastbourne on Sunday 11 September, when they will take on an Eastbourne "Junior Eagles" select side.

The Falcons are scheduled to line up as follows:-

4. Stevie Anderson

Any news on a new home

As of now, sadly nothing concrete, but we are hopeful of some more news toward the end of this month.

Whatever might happen then, it will still be a long hard road ahead before the Falcons might be reborn.

But then, what else would you expect ?!
