Details of the Falcons' fixtures in the newly-formed Southern Development League are as follows:-
Monday 24 April - Kent ( Away ) Friday 19 May - TBC - Devon and Weymouth ( Away - at Plymouth ) Friday 16 June - Kent ( Home ) Friday 23 June - Weymouth ( Home ) Saturday 1 July - Reading ( Away - at Eastbourne ) Friday 28 July - TBC - Reserved ( Home ) Friday 4 August - TBC - Iwade ? ( Home ) Friday 25 August - Reading ( Home )
Still to be confirmed - Devon ( Home ) and Iwade ( Away )
All meetings are six heat second-halves. Home meetings are at the Oak Tree Arena, Highbridge, Somerset.
Rider line-ups as and when I have them in the future.
These meetings are of course over and above the two full 15 heat NL-level meetings against Isle of Wight Warriors.

Hi so is there any news on a new site for the falcons to ride again? Gone quiet.im in Newport but for the last 33yrs my holidays have been spent in exmouth newport will never return but I hope exeter will I enjoyed the county ground if any of u do fantasy league u will see my name cheers

No definite news as yet, but Robert Doran & Alan Spencer have not given up, far from it in fact.
Hopefully, there will be some news of progress when the above two gentlemen speak following the AGM of the Supporters Club on 25th April.
Anything that does get revealed will of course be reported on this site, as well as on Facebook and Twitter.

The meeting scheduled for 1 July at Eastbourne, against Reading, was cancelled. Reading took on Kent instead.

Sadly, the weather has beaten the Falcons again, as the Somerset v. Wolves meeting tonight is off and, of course, so is the intended second-half event. This was going to be an eight-rider individual trophy event with most of those riders who have represented the Falcons in recent times taking part. Hey ho.

Just to confirm that there is no second-half at Somerset on Friday 4th August. Falcons ride at Eastbourne on Saturday 5th against Reading.
