Connor Coles has been busy lately, but sadly his meetings in the Championship are not netting him much in the way of a decent payday. He rode as a guest reserve for Birmingham Brummies in their home meeting against Leicester Lions on Wednesday night, but his four outings saw him finish last every time. Brummies went down heavily, losing 35 - 55.

Nathan Stoneman top-scored with 16 + 1 from 6 rides, Richard Andrews managed 6 + 1 and a revitalised Adam Sheppard 8 + 2 as Gladiators beat Stoke Potters 48 - 41 on Friday evening at the Coliseum.
Stoke had to use R/R for Connor Coles as he was riding for Edinburgh in the Championship, and this may just have cost them at least one League point, if not possibly more ? With three heats left the Potters were leading 38 - 33, but three 5 - 1s in a row saw the home team grab three points and leave Potters empty-handed.
Plymouth jump above Stoke, who are now bottom of the NL.
Connor Coles scored a respectable 5 + 3 as Monarchs cruised past visiting Birmingham Brummies 60 - 30 at Armadale.
