Well - it seems young Saul Bulley was the star of the show for the Falcons.
He scored 11 points - well done Saul !
Max Pankhurst scored 5 + 2, James Chattin 3 and Adam Sheppard 1.
Adam had lots of outings for the Gladiators earlier, and both he and his machinery must have been very tired. I feel sure he will be posting much better scores for the Falcons in future meetings.

The Plymouth Gladiators home meeting against Leicester Lion Cubs tonight was postponed due to the wet weather, so sadly the second-half clash between the Falcons and Milton Keynes Knights also fell by the wayside for now.

The Exeter ' Chris Richards ' Falcons enjoyed a successful 6-heat meeting on Friday night at the Coliseum, Plymouth.
They beat the IOW Wizards by 20 - 15 in their M&SD League fixture.
Saul Bulley top-scored with 7 + 1 from three rides, with James Chattin adding 6 + 1 from four rides, Kris Andrews 5 + 1 (3) and Max Pankhurst 2 from two outings.
Saul Bulley is looking a much better prospect now, I must say. He looks comfortable and well in control, and won two heats in around 55 seconds, just a couple outside a lot of the heat times in the main National Trophy meeting.
He was ably supported by both James Chattin and Kris Andrews ( brother of Richard who rides for Plymouth Gladiators ),whilst Max Pankhurst suffered what appeared to be a motor problem on the start line in his second ride, remaining firmly rooted to the spot as the others roared away. Hopefully, it will not prove too expensive.
Overall then, a good night for the Falcons boys.

The Falcons rode two meetings in two days over last weekend.
The first was on Friday night at the Coliseum, where they lost for the first time this season in the M&SDL. Only five heats were possible due to curfew, and Falcons dipped out by 14 - 16 to Reading Racers. Scorers:-
Adam Sheppard 5 ( 2 rides ) Saul Bulley 5 ( 2 ) Kris Andrews 2 + 1 ( 3 ) Kai Ward 2 ( 3 )
Well done to Kai Ward - a decent debut.
On the Saturday night the Falcons were at Stoke, taking on the Carmarthen Dragons. This time all six heats went ahead, and Falcons included Jamie Bursill. They were victorious by 19 - 16. Scorers:-
Adam Sheppard 8 James Chattin 5 + 1 Jamie Bursill 5 Kris Andrews 1 + 1 ( all three rides each )
Falcons are now second in the League on points difference.

The Falcons rode at Birmingham on Wednesday evening against the Bulls in the M&SD League, and sadly they went down 15 - 21.
This was mainly due to a four-ride maximum from Bulls' Arron Butcher.
Falcons scorers were:-
Saul Bulley 6 Adam Sheppard 5 ( he had an EF in one race ) Max Pankhurst 2 + 2 James Chattin 2 + 1
All took three rides each.
Better luck next time guys !
