Hell's teeth! I've just posted my reply in the wrong thread. There you go Nevs. See if you can find it!
Managed to find it in the end..

Excellent idea, but as I live in the past I will need to update the Hotline at the end (if I can find a phone box). That is going to be one busy weekend. Show of Hands Tour of Topsham on Saturday, Nick's meeting on Sunday, and now a Forum gathering on Monday. Can I take this level of excitement? Yeah why not?
Unquote.
Hopefully thats the one you were referring to!!!
You posted it under Feb 18th last forum meet up in forum announcements rather than Exeter Falcons supporters thread Tony for the same title- and Its March now and the clocks go forward soon -Right idea-wrong month and wrong double thread thats repeated in two various menus.
All sorted your post wise Thank you for alerting us to this matter(Peregrinner is probably in bed anyway with his nose up his backside working out how to make more profit for EDF in the coming day whilst I am day off ;D-Joke Nigel
Work to do on repetitive thread titles me thinks in various menus that could cause confusion ;D--Just buggered me up for the past half hour to say the least trying to work it out!!! ;D
Pere started one in forum announcements and I started one in Exeter supporters section.
Shows we dont have a clue what we are doing and dont communicate whatsoever unless its Dawns 50th birthday and discussing the price of helium filled ballons..
Apologies for the confusion ;D
One of us will combine both threads asap or get rid of one.
Wont we Pere--pretty please ;D
Any idea how to combine threads Pere??? Cos I aint got a clue
;D
At the end of the day purely from my view Tony, there are thousands of individual posts on here through the various threads over the past few years from before Exeter shut down--and as we are not running at the moment I personally consider them as great memories of Exeter speedway.
Sure they are old memories of the past few years and between the mods we could delete most of them as irrelevant in 2008--but why should we?
They are happy memories of our love for the Falcons in the fight to fly again and for anyone from which ever track happens to notice we still have a website or forum or whatever.
We used to troll through the various threads in the beginning of a new year and delete those no longer deemed relevant message by message, one by one.
It took ages.
My personal view is that why should we do that now-let people look in and remember the Falcons until we fly again.
Then maybe we the mods will go through all the messages and make them relevant again-but for now no matter how hard it is to face we are for now a defunct team and I for one am certainly not going to troll through things deleting all those hopes and dreams from Westpoint and onwards.
Once we fly again sure-but for now am content with the memories and all the fun and valued thoughts people had posting-A sort of diary of memories if you like.Hopefully the diary will open again soon.
No way am I deleting anything at this moment in time and Im sure you would agree with me.Some good memories on here and long may they continue and as has happened in the past when we have a "tidy up" of the forum we always let people know in advance in case they want to save any particular threads or messages before they are removed..
Next tidy up of this forum as far as Im concerned will be a week or two after we fly again for the first time again.
And bring on that day for sure
