Great to see that The Echo are doing a 40 page special on Exeter Speedway as you can see on www.exeterfalcons.com main page.

Another example of Martin Downer for one really taking Exeter Speedway seriously.

So much work must have gone into this from Tony and everyone

Will be available as a supplement in newsagents priced at £1.50 (BARGAIN!!) and supermarkets from 21st-although if you are lucky may find a copy from the 19th.

For those not in Exeter if you want a copy ring 01392 667512-Im sure they will accomodate you if you want a copy posted to you and cant get one locally.

Well done all involved-cant wait to see it.

The special costs £1.50-its a bit heavy with 40 pages so I guess they want £1.20 to cover postage which is hardly extortionate!!!! or do you mean postage itself is £2.70?

Got this today-and jolly good it is too.

Especially nice to note a few forum members enjoying the mexican wave in the grandstand and below,
namely Peregrinner-although Im a little concerned why Mrs Peregrinner got into it in such a big way her feet came off the floor and looked as though she was demonstrating how to land a parachute

Also Andy M although his hands could have been raised a little higher.

The one that concerns me most is big Al who looks like he is chewing a wasp and hands in pocket-I have text him to enquire why and he said he had a touch of wind at the vital moment as the wave passed him

I believe Mary is pictured in her full glory as well on the back straight if i have got the right person.

Well worth getting a copy of this publication.

Do my eyes deceive me, or is that an inset of the one and only Broncho Slade on the front cover. If so, I'll buy it just for that. One of the great characters of the late forties early fifties Falcons team, Broncho- with his all out leg trailing style- defied gravity on every bend.

Just read it very good just disspointed that dad(tony sanford) didnt get a write up as he lost his life riding at the county ground!!!!!!!!!!
