Just read on the Ipswich website that Mark Loram is about to, sign for them subject to a deal between john louis and terry russell AS TERRY RUSSELL OWNS ALL THE EXETER ASSETS SURELY NOT IF SO WHAT IS DAVID SHORT AND CO GOING TO DO WHEN WE HAVE SOLD OR OUR ASSETS ME THINKS THAT IT IS ALL A PIPE DREAM ANYWAY PLANNING NOT EVEN PUT IN YET

I was wondering what had happened to the ' assets ', i.e. riders' registrations, previously held by the late Colin Hill, so I asked Mr. Spearpoint at Newport last sunday.
It seems that Mark Loram IS now an ' asset ' of Mr. Terry Russell, this being part of the deal when he baled us out and enabled the Falcons to run in 2005. As for any others, such as Colesy, I'm not sure. None of ' our ' team from 2005 otherwise are Exeter ' assets '. Seemond's registration is still held by Eastbourne, Lemo's by Poole, Ben's by Oxford, Lee's by Belle Vue - I'm not sure who holds the likes of Pavel, Ray and Seb's but I do know it is not Exeter. Simmo and Lobby were Colin's assets but there is little likelihood of either of those two guys getting on a speedway bike again. I believe GG is ' ours '.
As for the stadium at Haldon, I think you can all rest assured that it is most certainly far more than a ' pipe dream '. Just be patient for a while longer, guys and gals !!

I understood that Lemo is a Falcons asset. He was signed by Mike Spearpoint at the back end of last season. I could be wrong but I think that Colesy is also a Falcons asset. GG certainly is and hopefully he'll get a team place soon.

I am 99 % sure Lee is owned by Newcastle now not Belle Vue, I thought they bought him off B V when he rode for them in 2004.

Lee is Newcastle Lemon is Poole Exeter is...history. Terry Russell will cut and run. Firstly regarding assets this is what I believe to be the case. Ben Barker-Oxford Lemmo obviously Poole Lee Smethills -Newcastle Seemond -Eastbourne Pavel-Newport I believe Ray Morton is probably Poole and Seb Iow-but not 100% certain on those two. As regards Exeter asstes Terry Russell is I believe still the current owner of Exeter Speedway and owns all of their assets at this present time which would include Mark Loram obviously. With regards to your comment Dave that Exeter are history and that Terry Russell will cut and run and other comments that Haldon will not happen are pure conjecture. Just watch this space and see what happens concerning the future of Exeter Speedway eh?-One way or another we may be pleasantly surprised-Who knows- Exeter Speedway is a long long way from being finished I can assure you at this moment in time-Lets let them get on with it and sort out what they have to do without stirring it up. People stirring it up lost us our last potential venue- Lets not let them risk losing The falcons next venue where ever or when ever it may end up to be.......

Sorry Nevs! Not meaning to put the Falcons in jeapordy, just gets a bit frustrating when we don't hear anything. I just read an article where David Short said it's quiet because they don't want to spread any news due to potential protestors etc I udnerstand now Cheers Dave p.s. Seemond for Newport?
