Dear friends at Speedway,
To all of you,this message:
I thank you deeply for all your concern and support. It has been so nice to receive your messages of encouragement and love through all of this time.Which,of course has been the hardest in mine and Anna’s lives.
Thankfully ,I hve good news for you,the prognosis is good on Toni’s recovery and am pleased to say that he walked some 6 metres yesterday.
He’s now having a look at all the lovely cards we have received through the post.
Its not surprising that you are being so nice.
We have only met nice people in all of these at the speedway and longtrack-grasstrack front.
Seeing Tony lying on an intensive care unit bed was so awful that I cried against racing and didn’t want to see anything to do with it.
But then, most of the riders and promoters came to see Tony (including Armando Castagna who was in the country at the moment) and I soon realised that whatever happens from now on,I shall always be grateful for the kind of life we were leading next to the racing. The amount of friends we made, the affection we received, the warmth whenever we were away from home……
I shall try to answer cards and letter to all of the people whom wrote their addresses.
But please remember that our thanks go to everyone the same.
Lots of Love,
Adriana and Little Anna
Edit..I dont have all speedway forums details-If you have access to a forum or a site please feel free to copy and paste it on every forum cos Adriana wants this message to get through to all that have supported them all.-Any spelling mistakes are my fault as couldnt copy and paste and had to type it out from her message to Rob Doran from the print out he gave me.
