Hi Everyone,
I had a meeting with Teignbridge yesterday and one of the points that came
out of it was that they have had 800, yes, eight hundred letters of support
so far. This is an absolutely fantastic effort and is the most support they
have ever had for any planning application. Normally most letters are
against but then only ten or so. To achieve eight hundred individual
expressions of support is an incredible result and even though we still have
objections from English Nature to overcome this level of support has really
put the anti-brigade on the spot and created a really hot potato for the
planners and they realise that they're dealing with a formidable force!
Great stuff everyone and I can confirm that they're still taking letters of
support. One more push and we'll get it over 1,000. A UK record?
