Tony Lethbridge and our good mate from Somerset Dave T make it a round £70. Will give anyone that is away in Poland for the GP a chance to pledge as well so will close the pledges on Tuesday night-We now have £70-would be great to get to a hundred- only another 6 more pledges needed to make the £100-so last orders Tuesday night 11.59pm-if it goes over 6 more pledges fair enough-will have beat the target. 1 in 14 chance so far to get the print-once Tuesday night is over thats it....A fiver and raising funds for Hospicecare and a chance to win this print!!!.....BARGAIN. Who knows Jim may be partial for negotiation with the winner to swap it for another of his prints-well I know he will in fact. ;D Pick one from 3...... Greg, Crumpy. Or "A Pride of Lions" Now lets get those last few quid in ;D

Many thanks Nick and Michelle. Just got back from the charity walk-made a very nice change for a Sunday evening and a few yarns were told on the way. So we now have £85 3 more tickets to go and a hundred quid raised for hospiscare. Was very funny seeing Peregrinner as a marshall pointing the way back at the halfway mark to all the walkers-then noticing us speedway contingent approaching and pointed us in the total opposite direction to the double locks hostalry for the kids to have a wee ;D. As soon as Pat sends me the photos we will get them up on here or a link. Details of payment after Tuesday- as soon as all monies are in will do the draw via webcam and post the result to youtube and a link here just to prove no cheating or underhand shannanigans.

WE DID IT. As of Monday evening 10PM the appeal has met the target of £100 ;D ;D ;D Thanks a million guys. You are a great bunch of people. As promised will keep going until midnight Tuesday night-Will then contact everyone about where to send cheques etc. Once the money is all in we will do the draw. Headmistress Headmistress'daughter Gemma. Gordan Ward Gordans wife. Squibby x2 IDH Exeter Falcons. Swedebasher. Mike JB x 2 Dave T Tony Lethbridge Paul Wiktorko. Ivan M Bird Mrs Claas Pip x2 £100 raised in a week-You should all feel very proud that even though we do not have a team to raise money for a rider this season, we can still manage to raise funds for another year for a very worthy cause.I am sure Colin would approve after the care he got there and realising before he passed that us internet lot are not such a bad lot of keyboard warriors after all. What a great result and hopefully people will benefit from this money through Hospiscare.

Nevs, It would be a good idea to collect the money before doing the draw. How about arranging a Forum Night at the Malthouse and doing the draw on a mobile phone? The next two Mondays are out, however, as we will be watching Sky Sports to see if the team that we beat in 2004 to win a trophy can win the Elite League Championship. ;D

Oh dont worry mate-the money will be collected before the draw.
Good idea about having a meet up to do the draw if people are up for it,although the print wont be there as whoever wins has a choice of print, however Jim can just send the Greg Hancock one to me and present that on the night.
What do people think? Will probably be our last meet up before xmas and we could do the secret santa pressie thing again that went so well last time. lol
So views please-hold the draw off for a few weeks and meet up for an evening of sociality and putting the world to rights or just do the draw at home?.
Over to you guys.
