Thanks to Peregrinner-Peregrinner has emailed me tonight with the same request or very similar that I received, that he found in an old inbox and now have an email address of the person hoping to sell them which was deleted at the time in my case.
If it is too late or not I am not sure if they have already been sold but I will email the gentleman Monday evening and enquire if they are still available,what exactly they are, for those that contacted me at the time.
See never give up hope-who knows.
Just amazed i have the email addy again-fingers crossed the chap has not sold them already if they are the same ones and the same gent.

This is what Pere got that makes me think it is the same person.
Would you know of any Exeter Speedway supporters who would be interested in Scott's falcons body colours 78-79 which include 1-3-5- British League Riders Champ Belle Vue and second half sponsors colours i have owned these for 27 years!!,i have also been thinking of listing them on E-bay.

I'm one of those terribly sad people who need to get a life ! ;D
I look at the newly listed items for Speedway on eBay every day, and I am certain I would have noticed if any items such as alluded to in this thread had been offered on eBay, so hopefully the gentleman concerned still has them.

Update.
Have had a reply to the email a few days ago from a lady saying thanks for the email and that the gentleman is out of the country at the moment and will be in contact as soon as he gets back in the country with regards to the race jackets.
She didnt specify when.
