County Ground Street Names

The city council will soon be deciding street names for the County Ground development and at the moment there does not seem to be any plans to have any street names commemorating speedway on the site.

If you think one of the streets should have some sort of speedway connection, please email the 2 local councillors for the ward with your ideas:

People need to decide which rider should be remembered and should include that in their email.

I would have thought Falcons Way or Falcons Place or Falcons Court should be a must to be considered at the very least.


Street Street may get too complicated for posties

If there was a road going all around the outside of the new development then it should definitely be called Verner Way !!! ;D ;D

Autrey Avenue ? Wiggy Way ? Cook Crescent ?

Now if the road had a slight incline we could have something with Hill in it

sign at the bottom would say "Mauger Hill" 100%

any bends in the road could be Bend 1, Bend 2 etc

Any road works would definitely be "Pits ahead"
