Former falcon and fans favourite Chris Harris is in the nominations for TWO !! BBC Sports personality of the year awards,both the Midlands and the South West.

The former England bowler was the key to Somerset's County Championship success. Bowling on batsman-friendly Taunton pitches, he sent down 522 first class overs. Only two bowlers (both spinners) bowled more. He took 70 wickets at an average of 24 with a best return of 7-30.
Chris Harris - 09015 225 302
The Cornishman won the British speedway Grand Prix in his first full season in the event with a superb display of brave riding. He finished 9th in the final World standings. He had earlier won the British title and ended the season helping his club Coventry to win the Elite League title. He also rides in Poland, Denmark and Sweden.
Ian Holloway - 09015 225 303
In his first season in charge at Home Park he led Plymouth Argyle to quarter finals of the FA Cup - a run which ended in an unlucky 1-0 defeat by Premiership Watford. He guided the Pilgrims to their best league finish for 20 years. The Pilgrims remain in the top 10 after a quarter of this season.

Riding Call Again Cavalier, the veteran former Olympic medallist won individual silver at the European Three Day Event Championships. She was also part of the British team which won the overall title. She also won the British Open Championship at Gatcombe Park on the same horse.
Sir Robin Knox-Johnson - 09015 225 305
The 68-year-old from South Devon completed his second solo circumnavigation of the world in the yacht SAGA Insurance. In May, he sailed into Bilbao to a hero's welcome after finishing fourth in the Velux 5 Oceans race. He was the oldest competitor in the event.

The Cornishman inspired England to a second successive Rugby World Cup Final. Despite poor form and a suspension in the early stages, he epitomised the fighting spirit which saw England beat Australia and France before the loss to South Africa.
BBC South West Sports Awards coordinator Hamish Marshall said: "There were plenty of strong cases who didn't even make it to the nominations section.
"It has been a really successful year for sport in the region – the strength of cases in the team award highlights this.
"Everyone who has been nominated has achieved something special and it is hard to pick overall winners and in no category is the final decision clear-cut."
