After a number of supporters contacted the Speedway Star with regards to their superb front cover following our End of Era meeting I had an email from them today to say they have agreed to produce a reproduction A3 copy of it for fans to keep as a memento.
The details of how it can be obtained will be in this weeks Speedway Star. If you dont normally get The Speedway Star make sure you do this week and take up their kind offer.
The two places I know where the magazine is readily available are Queen Street News in Queen Street Exeter and Martins Newsagents in the Cowick Street shopping Centre
I have never known them do this kind of thing before-Lets make sure its worth their while for listening to a few fans and all buy a copy-I cant imagine it will be very expensive and when framed will be a reminder for ever to keep of that special night.

Good to see that the Speedway Star has produced a special poster to commemorate the demise of the County Ground. Just a pity that this week (3rd November) they have ceased to have an Exeter column in their publication. I wonder how many sales they will lose in the Exeter area because of this? Not sure that I'll be renewing my subscription until the column reappears! Possibly the problem is not with the Star and tha lack of a column is due to the Exeter management not being willing to contribute anything!

As I understand it, it is not Speedway Star policy to carry a weekly column for "defunct tracks" which sadly I reckon is what Exeter is as of 31st October FOR NOW only hopefully.
I am led to believe there will be updates as and when news is available and will be submitted.
I the same as you was totally gutted and cant wait for when weekly updates start again-which will mean THE FALCONS ARE FLYING AGAIN.
Incidentally Chris Bridges writes the bits for the SS and has freedom to say whatever they want to.
Hope that clears that up a bit.
Keep the faith guys.
