Greetings from Down Under!
Keep checking in too see if we have missed anything but nothing exciting seems to have been happening. No one got anything to report - on anything! Speedway meetings out here are nothing like at home with last nights extravaganza taking over 4hrs to complete! Nearly lost the will to live. 4 races, then a rocket car display. Another 4 races and a motor cross stunt display. Another 4 then a firework display!! Another 4 and back comes the rocket car. 4 more and out come the motor cross bikes again. Add to this track grading with a large blade every 4 heats and you can see why it was a long night!!
Fill everyone in when we return!

Greetings from Down Under! No one got anything to report - on anything? Greetings back from St Thomas area Exeter UK You go to Aus for speedway for three weeks and then moan the meeting takes too long to complete!!!--No pleasing some people-should have just caught a train to Stoke -they normally take nearly three hours and thats just for the speedway!! or was when I was still updating at 10pm each Saturday and most other updaters had finished around 9pm ;D Seeing as its a tad quiet on the speedway news here at the moment heres some news.. Well our central heating boiler has packed up if thats any help And CO-OP Dunsford Hill open after a success full refit later today -hardly speedway news but you did say anything!! ;D Guess the guys are working hard behind the scenes speedway wise. Lets hope there is some good news coming soon. Hope you are enjoying your time in Aus the lot of ya--Big Fat Dave from Aus said on bsf there were a few westcountry accents on Travel Plus Tours coaches when he met up with everyone-assume you lot may be some of them-unless he is just joking and wasnt there --not sure if that was you lot or not he was referring to. Quote "There do seem to be a few West Country accents evident on the TravelPlus Tour, my duties as Official Interpreter have kept me pretty busy so far explaining what drinks to buy me. Cooled down a bit today so they were skipping around like Wombats on their Weekend off. I hated having to leave them behind but I've gotta get to Newcastle in time to set the traps :-[er, um, make sure they get well looked-after Unquote That was Jan 6th PS--When you get back with any video footage let one of us know-get it uploaded to you tube and we will stick it on the website under something like Falcons fans on tour in Aus.

Gday sports, greetings from a very damp Aylesbeare , trust you are having a fabulous time in Oz. So what you are saying is that its a bit like a normal meeting at newport, but there you dont get the entertainment in between the races!

Hello,
More greetings from oz!!!
I can vouch for the fact that speedway meetings over here are so long winded.
So much crap in between races, can see you waiting for a final after 11 o clock!! When you have to be at the track early afternoon for scruiteneering and riders briefings it can make for a very long and boring(!) day. Thank goodness Corey doesn't ride much any more, it leaves plenty of time for doing other meaningful stuff!!
Mary, are you coming over to WA? It is the Australian Junior Solo champs this coming weekend. Corey helps a couple of the lads here, and young Cameron Heeps (WA's brightest prospect at 12 or 13 years old) is seeded into the main event, so we're keeping our fingers crossed for a great result from him on Friday. Maybe with the right contacts (dad has already spoken to his mum and dad!!) he may get to ride at Exeter when he turns 16. He's certainly got the ability to do well. Anyway if you are coming to Perth, I'll be there.
Happy new year to all by the way.
Teresa.
