We have managed to raise £185 for Nicks meeting,(thats including the £10 from headmistress) Well done everyone ;D ;D  I have asked that we sponsor a heat with Chris Harris in, and the excess is going to be used for Mike Coles either for fuel and oil or insurance, as everything for Chris is already taken(surprise surprise). We should hopefully be listed in the programme as Exeter Falcons Back Straight Crew.(that is unless anyone else can think of anything better) Hope that is OK with everybody, Once again thanks for your support with this I am sure Nick will appreciate it. You guys are brilliant.
I have udated my list and you have now done oil/ fuel and insurance for Chris harris (£45)
and the rider sponsorsip of £100 for Mike Coles.
That leaves £40 to play with. Any thoughts

how about using it for fuel and oil for the two other former falcons, Paul Fry and Leigh Lanham,

I just think it is absolutely great,that 2 and a half years after Exeter closed people are still taking the time,the interest,and the inclination to still stick their hands into their wallet to remember those riders that entertained us so much. From Coreys boots to the back straight gang through to nicks bent forks,Colesys testimonial etc,Lols fundraiser. We may not be flying at the moment-but so nice to see everyone chipping in in some small way whenever they can. And every single year time after time for the past few years-the fans have contributed something financially to a cause for an Ex Falcon Not forgetting the hospice cause last year in memory of Colin You should be applauded Mary for making this happen and also all those that have taken the time and effort to contribute. It shows the Falcons and their fans are far from forgotten £185--wow-good on ya Mary I guess at the end of the day any money left over to the nearest pound should go towards heating Sandies hot tub for an hour or so. ;D--Only joking Mummy fairy |

Oh I really liked that last idea Nevs!!!! But I do agree with your sentiment. I think its amazing you are all so strong. I cant wait to meet you all, some again and some for he first time. :-) ______________________________________________ Edit - Guys I have just re-read Marys post and realise I have gone a little loopy with all the requests!!! What you actually asked for was: £150 for a heat with Chris Harris £20 fuel of Michael Cole £25 insurance for Michael TOTAL - £195 You have raised £185 so we can call it quits for cash!!! Sandie thats fine, I'm sure i can mug someone , I mean ask someone else nicely if they would like to contribute. either that or we all put in another 50p each Nevs yes it is fantastic that we can still raise this amount of interest. Even more so when you realise that it is really only forum members that have done this. Hi Mary The PM stays the same. The brain was working right at that point!!! Guys -dont worry about the tenner -you have already done more than enough. Im sure you will all bring that extra £1 or so for the raffle. Also just announced BILLY JANNIRO!!!!!!! So much excitment I think I need a lie down! |

I'll give the extra tenner - might have to be on the day of the meeting though. Can't have Gemma missing a flute lesson - I know all about that coz my daughter had all the lessons for the flute too !
