The wanderer returns from one of the dullest meetings I have ever watched. Gelsenkirchen was a one-line track and the only action happened in the first lap of each race. If any rider took a risk by riding wide they lost position. Thank you so much for trying Messrs Harris, Gollob, Pedersen and Jonsson. The Gelsenkirchen Grand Prix produced the following result: 25 Headmistress 22 Nevs 17 Pip 15 Idh 11 Looby 11 Mr Looby 10 Mrs Claas 6 Peregrinner (EF) 5 Darrentheraker 4 Headmaster Headmistress decided to get as far away from Hubby as possible. That makes the final table: 175 Peregrinner (EF) 173 Mrs Claas 165 Headmistress 157 Darrentheraker 140 Mr Looby 135 Looby 126 Pip 123 Nevs 120 Idh 73 Headmaster I shall take a bow and search out a wooden spoon for the schoolhouse.

Sorry you had such a disappointing trip to Germany EF. Poor Chris Harris!!!! He didn't look his usual buoyant self on first interview though. Was he affected by his long time sponsor Geoff Dagger's unfortunate accident beforehand? Something was obviously not right early on....won't comment further as personally bored and ......... by british speedway forums and their political and personal ranglings... Much more importantly; for now. Please EF - don't spend your pocket money on another wooden spoon - I have the perpetual one in my kitchen (pride of place) and the other I have used to stir things up all year. Please don't give Headmaster the tool for him to wield. Besides; he is not there to receive at the next supporters meet, he is being dragged up mountains (and possibly Workington for their last meeting). Thank you EF for your organisation of our competition again this year ;D Oops, nearly forgot. Many congratulations (are you being audited by the way? )

Congratulations Peregrinner on your fine win. Certainly found the drive when it mattered at the end of the season unlike darrentheraker who lost power on the last lap. Thanks for organising the competition to give us all a bit of fun in these bleek speedwayless times.
Got to agree with the poor GP summary, although Mr Claas got very excited when he spotted the Claas tractors "grading" the track in one shot on Sky.
On a different note, have spoken to Geoff Dagger a couple of times since his accident (happened on 24th September when a car pulled out in front of him) Told him after all this time of watching Chris he should know how to lay the bike down by now!!

Well done Pere, well deserved victory, although I do feel for Darren The Raker Unlucky Headmaster-keep it (wooden spoon) in the family I guess could be classed as a noble gentlemanly attitude and much applauded. Been a good laugh and like the others have said, Nigel thank you so much for taking the time GP in, GP out, fortnight after fortnight, to collate all the results and bring them to us all. Cheers mate

Thanks is appreciated.
There are the odd times when it is a chore although mostly I enjoy running these competitions.
Thanks must be passed to Russ for providing me with the GPs that I was unable to watch on TV.
Roll on next year - They HAVE TO give BOMBER a WILD CARD.

As all the others have said well done Nigel thanks for running it bit disappointed with my performance this year, glad headmaster was a little worse. Hope to have new engines and mechanics (well I've blamed them) for next year so look out for a better performance.
My team managers skills are better this year got to the the last 32 of the fantasy league cup.
congrats to you both (Nigel and Geoff) for you accolades
