I know this competition is getting close - but is the exclusion prediction by EF a method of introducing bonus points for predicting such an event (very possible for JC after 3 last year after all)! ;D Or perhaps you have a red umbrella to distract JC? O.K. Why Not? Just to add a little extra (1 prediction per event, 1 point if it happens) My prediction: Jason Crump will be excluded at some point. (N.B. Obvious predictions do not count ........................ e.g. I predict that eight riders will reach the semi-finals.)

My extra prediction.
A sausage roll will have gone over the £2.50 barrier at cost price once you add 17.5% Vat at Cardiff this year.
Could someone who is there check it out please?

Will do, Nevs. My prediction is that Sophie Blake will yet again rebuff my polite request to have dinner with me after the meeting !!

My extra prediction. A sausage roll will have gone over the £2.50 barrier at Cardiff this year. Could someone who is there check it out please? I had 3 bleedin texts yesterday whilst working at Co-Op telling me they were £2.20 Clutching at straws here but with 17.5% VAT added takes them over the £2.50 mark. Extra point please Pere

What do you reckon ??!! It's easier to get to speak to the Queen than to Ms. Blake !!! ;D Bjarne P let me down badly in his semi, after being joint top points scorer with 12 in heats 1-20.

The Result from Cardiff is as follows:
30 = idh 30 = Paul Wiktorko 10 = headmistress 10 = MiniNevs 9 = EF 9 = Nevs 9 = Squibby
idh clearly taking a lead here by sticking with Jason Crump. Paul Wiktorko followed him and nearly took him on the line.
headmistress and MiniNevs were good second strings in this event.
The failures are those who went for the bonus points.
Nevs failed his because sausage rolls were only £2.20 as we all found out and we all texted him. That must have made his day.
I failed because the referee clearly failed to spot the nudge that Jason put in during his first race. With the benefit of slow motion I have to agree with the ref but at the time I knew I'd been done!
Squibby failed not because the divine Ms Blake failed to dine with him but because he failed to get close enough to ask!
So - after I put the current table up we can plan for Copenhagen.

The Table After Cardiff
105 = idh 100 = Paul Wiktorko 85 = headmistress 79 = Nevs 74 = Peregrinner (EF) 65 = MiniNevs 64 = Squibby
All to play for as we head into Nicki Pedersen territory.
