I was pleased with this one.
This was never going to be a contest.
The only test was whether Somerset could reach 60 points. At the end of the meeting I felt that they achieved this target AND SOME.
Watching Paul Clews take out Henning Loof in Heat 1 was not the best start to a meeting but it may have done Somerset a favour.
Watching Jason Doyle pass Truminski on the line whilst so out of control that he had actually crashed was a key moment. Truminski had started with confidence but lost it all in that moment.
Craig Watson did his best and maximised his Tactical Ride but he had absolutely nobody to support him.
We found a place on the second bend out of the wind but it looked like it was blowing a gale on the back straight.
Emil Kramer v. Craig Watson was the race of the night for me.
Was anyone else there?>

I have just spoken to Henning on MSN and he says he is ok and just hopes he can get permission to ride tomorrow evening at Reading.
Fair play to the guy-nice bloke. Glad he is ok and can continue to follow his dream and gets there in the end with the right average and then move on from there.
