Great thread IDH; the replies so far are very interesting.
::)Sorry haven't completed my homework yet. Still deliberating and arguing with other half..... Better put a deadline on this though, if you need an answer in the immediate future ;D
Agree with Tony - hard to pin down 7 under one criteria.
Will get back to you.

My all-time dream team is:-
1. Ivan Mauger - the supreme professional 2. Mark Loram - cannot leave out the record holder 3. Scott Autrey - talented yet modest - a star 4. Richard Green - Mr. Excitement 5. Vaclav Verner - I'm biased, but how can you ignore him? 6. Jimmy Squibb - Mr. Dependable 7. Martin Ashby - style personified
There are many others of course - choosing just 7 was really difficult. Bob Kilby, Colin Gooddy, Jack Geran, Neil Street, Kevin Holden, John Barker, Wiggy, Steve Regeling, Mike Coles, Bomber - just everyone who donned the Falcons racejacket and risked their necks to entertain us over the years.

I will start this one up again but include all riders:
1. Kevin Doolan (Winner of the Welsh Open this year) 2. Mark Lemon (Heat 13 at Somerset last night was sublime) 3. Mark Loram (I was there in Bydgoszcz when he won the title) 4. Tony Rickardsson (simply the best in his era) 5. Mike Coles (the Falcon who could ride other tracks) 6. Nick Simmons (Best entertaining reserve I have seen) 7. Sebastian Tresarrieu (How can he just disappear like that?)
How about that for a team I would go out of my way to watch.
