Hello Falcons fans, Just thought I'd introduce myself. You will have guessed from my Username that I'm a Belle Vue supporter. Have been since 1946 though for the past three seasons the ravages of age and infirmity have meant that I've been reduced to being an armchair [and computer chair] supporter. If they had supportive seats in the BV stadium I'd be clicking through the turnstiles again instead of clicking here on my computer. When I read a post from Nevs on the BSF forum saying that work was about to start on your new stadium I was thrilled. It really stirred my heart that one of the traditional clubs of our sport was rising from the ashes. I shall be following progress with great interest through this forum. Nevs has referred to me as being Belle Vue through and through. That's so, but only because it's always been my nearest track. I'm planning to have the Falcons as my second team - if you'll give an old codger a second speedway home! I'm told I've got a quirky sense of humour, whatever that may mean; sometimes my keyboard types strange things on forums so I apologise in advance for any misdemeanors it commits on here. Anyway, that's all for now. Don't want to bore you to tears - well not yet anyway! Ron.

welcome aboard ron, we're all looking forward to the bulldozers moving in and getting things underway and then of course especially next march and the beginning of a new era. if the proposed stadium is as good as we hope then you never know, sky may pay us a visit and you can watch the flying falcons from that comfy armchair.
all the best winkey

I've always cherished the thought of being immoralised [or should that be immortalised]. Margaret accepted your apology with an amused chuckle and a comment on your pic. I think it was something about a direct descendant of Worzel Gummidge Long may the Falcons fly. Ron.

I hope Craig hasn't got too much course work to do at present, because after he has done the banners for both Acefalcon ( Welcome to Exeter Ron, Ivan made the same sensible move in 1973) and Billy, I recall you took an order for me Nevsy some months ago. You've both probably been too busy celebrating exam results and planning permission!!!

No Problem, will get Craig to sort them at half term at the latest, will be the end of the cycle speedway season as well,we never see him at the moment, either at college, upstairs, working at Maplins or Racing.
Will get him to do a few designs and then get him to either post them for you to add or we can add them to your profile from this end-leave it with me-I promise he will do them.
You are first in line Tony as I know you wanted a specific race jacket and he had trouble converting it.Will bend his ear tomorrow night after he finishes work.
Edit Just spoke to Craig and he is gonna try and sort them out in the next week or two for you all as long as he can scale the race jackets down.
Any specific request Billy?

Thanks Nevs. What would we do without you? Hey Tony, This must be a very easy going forum if you can address such potentially loaded questions to an Administrator with impunity! Ron.
