If we do receive the Christmas pressie we all want - for 2006, or more likely 2007 at the venue most likely..I do hope we are able to run training schools and a conference league team.
Went to Weymouth again last night - always entertaining - some racing really in the raw, but always committed and exciting.
Even our Ivan was there talking about his pride in doing the last 4 laps (7 actually I counted) at the CG.
Lewis Bridger is amazing - a young Chris H/Simon S in the making.
I do hope Weymouth can overcome their problems and re-open again next year - too good a facility to close.
Don't hear many other members commenting about their trips to Dorset?

My mate Martyn and I went to the Wessex Stadium on Friday night too. It's a tidy little place, I agree. Although a very small track it is a good proving ground for young riders to learn to really slide the bike, learn throttle control etc. Too many youngsters in recent years have been let loose on big, fast tracks with little experience and have come a cropper, some quite badly.
I really hope Weymouth overcome the objections ( noise levels - yet again a few people moaning about this and seemingly having their voices heard above the hundreds of those in favour of the sport - do we really live in democracy in this country ??) and run again in 2006. Good luck to them.
