Radio Devon have announced the endorsement of Seemond (plus others) for Plymouth. Great; but can Seemond really qualify to ride in the Conference League? Surely doubtful - (Paul W needed here).
Seemond is unquestionably a natural leader. Plymouth would be surely lucky to have him on side.

From Kevin Meynell's FAQ site:
Each team must declare a squad of between eight and twelve riders, all of whom must hold ACU licences. No rider may be declared in more than one squad in the same competition. Riders aged fifteen may compete (as opposed to sixteen in the BEL and BPL). Riders also declared in BPL teams may be used provided they are under the age of twenty-five (as of 1 January that year) and have a BPL average of less than 4.50. In 2005, all riders are graded between 2 and 11 based on their average, age and experience. A team must nominate seven riders from their squad for each match, but the combined grades of these riders must not exceed 42, and must include at least two Grade 2 riders and no more than one Grade 11 rider. Guests are not permitted and rider replacement is only allowed for the three riders with the highest grades in each squad. Riders transferring between BCL teams during the season are not eligible to ride for 28 days. No transfers are allowed after 31 August.
Basically I think this will mean that Seemond would move down as an 11pt rider and be barred from riding in the PL or EL since he is quite a lot older than 25
