Hey, everyone I have decided that this season it’s time for the Falcon’s to fly once more in some form, I’m putting together a select team that will take part in second half’s, National League challenges and hopefully some Premier League challenges. I’m building the team up of old Falcon’s and some of the best new local talent. We already have are first meeting pencilled in, it’s a second half at the new Leicester track which will be Long Eaton Invaders vs. Exeter Falcons and that’s on Saturday June 4th after the Leicester vs. Plymouth meeting so if anyone could make the travel to see to Devon clubs the support will be greatly appreciated. Mattie,
Speedway has a nasty habit of building you up and leading you down the red carpet before somebody pulls it and you fall into a pit.
Let us know if this is still on nearer the date and I will organise a trip to relatives who are not far away.

Geezer,
There are two ways of proceeding.
Keep it cheap to start with by renting and struggle on year after year paying out to those who own the ground and facilities. This approach is being investigated.
OR
Splash out big time on land, stadium and facilities then recoup the debt over 25 years or more.
We need an enthusiastic benefactor for the latter option.

We already have the benefactor - Colin Hill. The hard part is finding the site. And please don't tell me we only need a farmer's field. We require a great deal more than that, a friendly district council for a start. Some of us have been working on this for the last six years, and are continuing to do so.
