Are you ready for the Fantasy Grand Prix 2011?
There are no prizes except for a huge dose of kudos.
The rules are so simple that anyone can understand them, apart from Headmaster who claims to know a lot about speedway but always finishes near the bottom of the table.
You have to pick four Grand Prix riders in the order that you expect them to finish in the final of each event. If your pick matches the result then you score points as follows:
WINNER IN FIRST PLACE = 25 points
SECOND IN SECOND PLACE = 15 points
THIRD IN THIRD PLACE = 10 points
FOURTH IN FOURTH PLACE = 5 points
WINNER IN ANY OTHER PLACE = 4 points
SECOND IN ANY OTHER PLACE = 3 points
THIRD IN ANY OTHER PLACE = 2 points
FOURTH IN ANY OTHER PLACE = 1 point
BONUS:
If you can correctly predict the number of points scored by a particular rider then you will score the same number of points.
Example:
1. Chris Harris
2. Tomasz Gollob
3. Nicki Pedersen
4. Chris Holder
Bonus: Hans Andersen 11 points.
Once you have made a choice that selection remains in place for the season unless you post again, and most of us do for each race, even though I have proved that not changing often results in a higher score.
Everyone is welcome to participate, whether or not you once supported Exeter Falcons Speedway Team.
