Hi all well time has moved on since we last let you know about www.britishspeedwaysliders.com ........... we have over 450 members who are fans of speedway clubs from all over the world, 10 British League teams based on a variety of tracks and we have expanded the amount of tracks that we have available................... as well as Polish and International tracks we also have Arena Essex, Belle Vue, Brighton, Boulevard, Coventry, Eastbourne, Glasgow, Hull, IOW, Ipswich, Mildenhall, Milton Keynes, Newport, Oxford, Peterborough, Poole, Reading, Romford, Rye House, Sheffield, Swindon, Wolves and Workington..... with many more active and defunct British tracks in the pipeline Last season saw the Workington Warriors take the League and Cup with the other competitions being spread between the Glasgow Cowboys and Sheffield Sabres If all of this has caught your attention so far then it is best to say that this isnt a turn based management game......... that it isnt just (or even primarily) a management game either............. you control the bike..... you race against other speedway fans from around the country and world ....... and you can choose to get involved in the league or not as we have servers that run throughout the day and night for those that just want to have a bit of fun For those that do get involved in the league we have a structure similar to speedway where we have refs, captains (managers), points limits, committee (bspa), and official competitions like the KO Cup, BLRC, Pairs, 4's, GB Champs etc...................... most of all though we have fun in a friendly community where none of us seem to get bored of it Season3 is approaching and if you sign up now there is a chance that you may be able to get involved..................................................check out www.britishspeedwaysliders.com and take a look around the website........... the game can be downloaded from the 'game links' section on the left hand side ...... you will need v2 and both of the patches for it .....................after that head towards the forum (VIP code for registration is 2407) which is where everything happens ............. your first stop should be britishspeedwaysliders.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=64 (link for downloads also here) and then britishspeedwaysliders.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=40 ......................................... If you get stuck with anything then feel free to ask for help - anyone will be willing to help see you there and have fun

Hi all.
This game has been running for 18 months now and is stronger than ever as the community builds up. We are just about to start team building for season 3 and the first two seasons have been excellent and can only get better. As spook said, this game is NOT a simulated management game. The only management part, comes for us captain (there are 10 in season 3) I am one of them, and in season 2, my team, the Workington Warriors were league champions. For any of you out there who aren't great with computers and reckon you will find this too difficult, there are many people willing to help out and we are one big friendly community. As I have been playing sinse the very beginning, I can contribute a good amount of help. You really should have a go at this game and make up for the lack of Exeter members on the game! If you need any advice on help feel free to contact me on msn at loramski@hotmail.com or send me an email.
Cheers all Craig (Mini-Nevs / County Ground DJ)

Hey guys, Just poping in to bring you all up to speed on whats been happening so far this year We have just started S3 League and currently the earlier pace setters are the Peterborough Piemen, Workington Warriors (last seasons Champions) and the newport Storm. If you have not already heard about us the game is aimed at any ages really from 8+, and is a friendly place to be. The game does have its own forum, which is for all the family, has good banter, and is moderated very well. There are a good set off mature guys on late night Servers (sometimes till 3/4am ;D) which is always a good laugh, and good racing too We race on current and defunct tracks from all over the country and the world too. We try to make them as realistic as possible, and try and recreate the lines to the real track, as well as making them competitive. We also have a Development team who work on tracks that are not in the game yet. If there is a track that hasnt been built or updated yet it is sure to be on the cards. Please see here for some of the tracks we have made www.esnips.com//web/spudplank-Tracks?action=showSlideShow#The league does see the likes of 30+ aged riders do very well and pick the game up very quickly. Then go on to winning leagues, pairs competitions, 4 Team Tournaments, etc.. As a new rider, you will start your career in ''The Pool Academy''. This is where the new guys get important practice for the league. I.e. learn the rules, learn the tracks etc. We generally run matches every Sunday. With planned Training during the week with a helping hand for a league rider or 2 giving advice. The pool also prevents new riders taking on the best week in, week out. After awhile you will be ready for league action . However, Opportunities to guest in the league can be common, and Pool Academy riders can get valuable experience from this, and even get more rides in the league than league riders if you’re lucky enough . Occasionally, the league will see riders retire, and the first place the teams will come is the pool if you missed the link first time round www.britishspeedwaysliders.com/ - This is where you can find the link to the forum. Read the welcome section, Download the game and sign up to the Pool Academy to start your career. Any problems drop me a PM on the forum, and ill help you out (Being a Vikings fan I know the pain of being without your club, but this sure does bridge the gap) Maverick
