Don't forget the forum meet up on Monday 23rd at The Malthouse. Possibly the last chance to see each other before xmas.(OK- who thought thank goodness for that ?? -be honest) ;D Nothing has been booked with them as it may be 10 of us-It may be 15 of us. It may just be Billy No Mates sat in the corner with a Greg Hancock print and a wooden spoon to give away ;D--(now there is a story to tell there-bloody shopkeepers--Argyle indeed ) If you fancy a laugh please pop along--and if you do- try and join in the fun and bring a secret Santa pressie with you. Hopefully see you all there. (I feel the need to point out from previous forum meet ups and confusion as to wether its a forum meet up or a supporters club meet up that this is not a supporters club meet up or anything officially connected with Exeter Speedway itself-legal stuff as supporters club meet ups involve having to be covered for insurance etc-This is purely a forum meet up so if you fall down the stairs and bang your head It's your own fault basically).--Purely an informal meet up although any man and his dog is welcome-PC or no PC.) You either would have to be mad to miss it-or mad to be there-The choice- as Cilla would say -is yours.

After a lot of hard thought and purchasing the secret santa pressie an hour ago with Gemma it refuses to work and seems even more unreliable than Sebastien Tresarrieu I now have to creep around the missus to kindly ask her to go and get a rider replacement version of it tomorrow cos I'm working (which is the equivalent of opening negotiations with Jason Crump to ask him to join Exeter Cycle speedway club next season)--Wish me luck ;D

Would anyone mind bringing a digital camera tonight? My cheapy one is a bit suspect and it would be nice to get a few photos of Headmistress and Mrs Claas and Mary and Mrs Peregrinner dancing on the tables come the end of the night to remind us of the good times and something to look back on. Such as these previous meetings of fans over the years from the forum and supporters club do's. ;D ;D Blimey that pic takes us back a bit--The First ever forum meet up!!! Not quite sure what Mr Wiktorko was grinning at that evening mind you--Good job Ivan M's bald head was in the way Anyone remember these 3 chaps who appeared out of know where that night and wondered why it was so busy??? or these other two who turned up as well? ;D

Thanks, everybody, for a most enjoyable evening. Shame about the Malthouse roof, better flow than the old County Ground showers! I am certainly encouraged by Allen's update, and the future is again looking positive. When are we having another gathering?

Thoroughly enjoyed last night even though at one stage I thought we might be going for an indoor rain off!! Good to spend an evening with people with a common interest. Special thanks must go to Allen for coming along and keeping us so well informed with what is happening behind the scenes. Makes you realise just how hard he is working to give us a "home" for our weekly speedway fix once more.
