It seems that our own Headmistress has turned into a song writer or should i say songbird ;D
spotted on the main forum (why not on here Jane)?
Quote inspired by the interval 'entertainment' on the night the word was reinvented. For today's entertainment you can even fill in the missing rider depending on your opinions.
Coz, you won’t stop racing, But please don’t give it a rest You’ve got more bottle than …………, Now time to overtake the rest.
Now you’re just the kinda boy To give the Brits such pride, When they played the National Anthem, You and 40,000 cried,
We knew right off when we first set our eyes on you, A champion of the future? Some said Bomber Harris – who? With your incessant racing, you’re becoming the BEST!
yup yup bomber yup yup yup bomber bomber racer yup bomber bomber yup yup yup bomber bomber racer yup yup yup bomber bomber racer yup yup bomber bomber racer
With apologies to the cockney pair...

Just enjoying the most amazing occasion, again, on SKY, whilst recording for Headmaster who just can't get enough rain and motor action and has left me washing his socks, whilst he enjoys the MX at Torrington (bet he's curled up instead snug in his car after a 3.30 am bedtime).
Sorry missed you IDH at POW. Apparently you'd just left according to Nevs. Great to catch up with other like-minded souls however during the unique atmosphere leading up the event.
When Chris won; I couldn't take it in - just stupidly stood there tears prickling, with my new Bomber flag wrapped around me (not waterproof btw). My Chris graduated this week with a first; so what a week.
Bet there is a mighty run on throat medication at pharmacies around the country today!
I fully intend to re-live the moment this afternoon and enjoy it all over again!!!! ;D ;D ;D

What a night! Just watched the meeting again. "Our boy" certainly became a man last night.
I complained to Mr Claas last week about the lack of coverage on Chris in the Speedway Star. Mr Smart**** replied "They are saving it all for next week when he wins!" All I get now is "See, I told you"!!
I might be totally wrong on this, but I think it was Allen's birthday yesterday. If that was the case, that must have been the best present in the World!!

Sat down to savour the action, loving daughter recorded the meeting on DVD for me. Her words still haunt me, I didn't check it recorded ok but it was ok when we went out. From heat 19 onwards there is a reminder that scheduled program (I think) will be delayed, thinks ok can live with that. Watch the first semi and then nothing. The thing is I sort of knew that something like that was going to happen, how does that work?. Looks like I will be buying the DVD. What a great day it was, also sorry to have missed you Ian, hope to catch you at Somerset soon.
