:'(Mark sustained leg injuries in his first race at Ipswich last night. Sam Simota was also taken off to hospital after the same crash. It has been suggested that Mark could be out for the season. Information taken from the speedway live updates site.
Let's hope the news is not as bad as it sounds and Mark makes a full and speedy recovery. Speedway (and especially Ipswich this year) cannot afford to have a racer like Mark out for long.
Best wishes Mark from all your fans.

A link to press regarding Mark's injury. Terrible Terrible news. Bryn Williams was hoping to talk to Mark's dad today so may have more news after The Somerset meeting tonight as to what Mark's dad said to Bryn. All the best in your recovery Mark www.eveningstar.co.uk/content/eveningstar/sport/

Was going to post this on the Somerset forum where not just Mark's but other's woes came to light. By your post IvanM; presume you are now back in land of living. Also hopefully family members also reported as suffering bad fortunes are now OK. On a personal note re Mark; speedway 2007 will surely be diminished for his absence. This is such a blow. Mark: look forward to seeing you somewhere in 2008!
