This is not directly Latest Exeter Falcons news, please read though....
But indirectly it could possibly be for the development of future riders for Exeter Speedway-apologies for posting it here but it raises an issue of youngsters of today that wish to follow the Falcons and possibly ride for the Falcons in the future--who live and breath the sport- and just take a look at what some numbskulls of probably their own age-who have nothing better to do than wreck other peoples property have done to these kids/adults-Just look at whats happened over the past weekend, and what the kids woke up to on Sunday morning with the phone calls doing the rounds to try and get everyone down there to help clear up the mess.--Its absolutely disgusting.
The words and pictures-written by one of the young would be racers will speak for themself.
I though I would post it here as they have for years modelled everything on Exeter Speedway down to floodlights, trackcolours etc-please take time to read it as everyone is in shock-this is the 6th time the place has been wrecked.--And I know that this is the main place that most people look- so thought I would bring to your attention on here rather than hide it away in cycle speedway section, for those that dont look there, as there isnt an awful lot of Exeter news to report at this moment in time, but these kids could be the future as Colesy was when he rode cycle speedway and point out that they will not be beaten over this.
These kids want to do speedway, model themselves on the Falcons, and hopefully ride for them in the future and in this past weekend yet again-vandals have completely ripped everything apart again. THIS TIME WITH PICK AXES!!!!!
What the hell is wrong with people of that mindset to do something like this-AND FOR WHAT GAIN???
The club will regroup and pull together, as they do in Speedway,as they did today and hopefully one day some will achieve their dream.
The last sentence at the very end sums up their determination to soldier on as the people at Exeter Speedway are doing and not lay down and die.
Sorry rant over.

"Yet again the cycle speedway riders of Exeter and the parents have been left devastated by the news that the Club has once again been broken in to. This time however is the worst. The announcers hut door has been ripped back from the top and the unknown vandals have smashed up items in it and taken stuff out. Equipment for the track which is left in here, has been thrown out of the hut and other useful tools have been smashed and trashed. Here are two awful pictures of the announcers hut and the mess it has been left in......Yet again the cycle speedway riders of Exeter and the parents have been left devastated by the news that the Club has once again been broken in to. It is not only the Announcers hut that has been broken in to, but the changing rooms aswell have been smashed up inside and the paint we use to paint the fence and make the place look tidy as been thrown around all over the floor , as well as the speakers we use in GP's......
But the most sad news is that our Brand New club house, which the parents spent a long time and a lot of effort building, has been completely trashed and smashed up inside. The lights have been ripped out of the ceiling and all windows have been completely smashed. All the furniture inside the Aces club house has been thrown around and stolen and it is a complete and utter mess. The only item which hasn't been touched is the Picture frame of the Aces Riders and our happy team in matches we have won, and in fun training sessions. Pictures from when some of us were just little kids who have now grown up to become South West Champions in our age groups. All those days will certainly bring much happier memories for the kids and parents who have put their time into building the club up and its facilties, than the days like these, where once again we have to face the mess and devastation which others have brought to us. It isn't easy to keep a club running which is continiously being broken into, but to see all our hard work smashed to pieces by vandals and very selfish people is gutting. While the Exeter Aces Cycle Speedway Club will continue to pull through this nasty time, we hope that who ever has done this, is happy with what they have achieved.........
Although this has happened, The under 19 British Championship and Ladies event on Saturday, will still be going ahead.
In happier times last season-all the guys want to do is race and win.
Watch for the green and white determination.
The Vandals can try their best but they will never beat Exeter.
