Just a question.
For those Exeter fans heading to Cardiff this year for the GP is there any chance of any sort of Exeter T shirts or polo shirts that maybe someone could produce to show our support for The Falcons and Exeter in general with an up to date shirt we could buy from here or at the next supporters club meeting.
Personally have been wearing our League champions Polo shirt each year-now getting a tad moth eaten and people come up and ask how things are going knowing you are from Exeter-but couldnt someone as a one off for the Exeter site develop a t shirt or polo shirt for Cardiff this year that we could all be proud to buy and wear as a one off to show our support this year at Cardiff for Exeter-I know Crazy sue did last year for the speedway updates and was relatively cheap to buy one once the design was arranged something like a tenner each.
Come on lets show Exeter arent defunct and will rise again rather than wearing moth eaten t shirts and polo shirts from years back.
If anyone wants crazy sues details to ask how she did it for speedway updates and has a design I would be most happy to pass her contact details on.
Come on Cardiff 2008-New Exeter Polo shirts etc -rather than those we have all been wearing for the past few years.

If Allen Trump comes through with the planning the logo could be:
EXETER FALCONS
RACECOURSE
EASTER 2009

There was a good little place at Marsh Barton that did cheap orders for Colin. Don't know if its still there. He did our Lol campaign T-shirts.

I think you are referring to ACES - it is in Bakers Yard and run by Steve Alford, who I know from skittles at St Thomas SC and who has done me the odd favour price-wise on shirts, including the tongue-in-cheek Seb Alden 17+1 at Newport 2005 one I was sporting at the last Forum meeting.
Providing it is only wording ( i.e. no pictures ) and at most 3 colours e.g. green shirt with black and/or white wording, the artwork is usually around £30-35, and he does a decent quality polo shirt ( e.g. Screenstars, Fruit of the Loom ) for around £8, so if we could get firm orders for, say, 20 shirts, I doubt they would work out and more than £10 each, maybe even less if we allow him to put a little plug for his business on the shirt somewhere !!
We would however need to put the order in by end of this month to give Steve time to get the shirts done and for them to then be passed out to all those who have bought one.
Nevs - how about a thread asking who would be up for a shirt, to gauge how many are likely to be sold, mate ??

Great idea Nevs, long overdue I reckon and not just for the GP but any other track we should frequent. I'd certainly be up for 3 or 4 if the price is reasonable.

I dont mind posting a thread about it,collating details and if need be having the money sent to me upfront in the form of a cheque from each person payable to the person organising the shirts or the firm which I then would pass onto (in cheque form) to whoever could organise the shirts once the cheques are received. Maybe Squibby is up for that with his contact-once he gets the cheques he orders the shirts. Im no good at designing stuff so we would have to agree what the wording would be-although initial thought would be an outline of a Falcon either green or white on white or green Polo Shirt/T shirt would be good-surely you can bend his arm to do that squiiby. Maybe "Falcons on Tour" wording above the logo and "Cardiff 2008" below or 2008/2009 so it could be used next year below it and then summit else added on the back--I dunno. Thats just a very rough idea-guess Squibby and the man at the printers would come up with summit better Can always guage interest once we have a rough price and if it doesnt come off I will return cheques as I aint gonna pay em into anywhere if it doesnt happen. First would be to agree a price per unit to guage interest for say 20 and what the cost would go down after that Agree a design everyone is happy with that he could do Advertise it to the forum ensuring its payment in advance by cheque to whoever-be it the company or Squiiby--nice man very nice man. Set a deadline for cheques. Receive cheques. Shirts printed and despatched somehow before Cardiff be it by post, on a coach, at a meet up or at Cardiff itself. Well at least we are getting somewhere although just an idea at this stage. Thoughts?
