I was standing in a queue in the photographic dept of Boots waiting to collect some prints and idly looking at those digital picture frames showing views and people pretending to enjoy themselves when suddenly up pops a familiar sight. It was surely the Falcons lined up on a pre meeting parade at Newport. I just spotted Lemo before the picture changed. Sorry Squibby but didn't get a chance to see if Seb Alden was there! I waited to see if the picture came up again but after half an hour the assistants were beginning to give me funny looks so felt it was time to leave. Has any one else noticed the picture?
The lastest issue of the Exeter Citizen dropped through the letter box yesterday. Its Exeter city council's version of Pravda full of amazing information about wheelie bins, Dennis the Dustcart, aerial theatre, and concerts featuring people we have never heard of, but tucked away in a corner was the revelation that the city's new deputy mayor, Cllr Kevin Mitchell, is also an avid speedway fan. Good on you, Kevin. Hope you can put some pressure on Teignbridge to make a quick and favourable decision.

If it was Boots in the High Street, Andrew ( Al and Kims mate and who was a moderator on here from a few years ago that sadly doesnt get on here these days) works there in the photographic developing department, and they have all travelled to Newport for Exeter meetings so that may explain it-may not- but who knows?? He is going on the coach to Cardiff so can ask him then. Ask him about the IDA when I point him out. If I remember correctly, Keith Mitchell used to be a regular in the stand at the County Ground. He also joined us on our never to be forgotten 5 day tour in 2000 - Hull, Sheffield, Belle Vue (well it wasn't worth coming home again!)Workington & Newcastle. What a brilliant time was had by all. Seem to remember Keith won the "guess the score" competition on more than one occasion!
