Would just like to wish Lloyd Barrett all the best in his demonstration rides premeeting at the Cardiff GP on Saturday.
Fantastic once in a lifetime opportunity mate. Hope you enjoy every minute of it.

This should now read "Bad Luck Lloyd"!
Packed Lloyd off this week to the SGB Summer Camp for young riders. (They were a helper short so sent Kaye as well!)
Monday was spent watching Belle Vue. Shane Parker was on hand to show the 24 lads what went on during the meeting etc and took them out onto the track etc.
Tuesday was a lesson in bike cleaning in the morning then off to Dave James racing in the afternoon for basic bike preparation lessons. Got a bit of a shock when Kaye asked what the difference was between a Mikael Blixt & Finn Jensen carb - they had never had a woman ask that before!
Wednesday - the day they had been waiting for. Everyone off to Buxton under the watchful eye of Mark Loram and Shane Parker. Just as Lloyd was getting into the swing of things he managed to fall and you've guessed it, break his wrist. Totally, totally gutted for him. Told him if he had to do these things, do it on the last day. He was given the option to return home but wanted to stick out the course.
Thursday was spent in the gym working on fitness levels - bit difficult with your arm in plaster!
Friday it is back on track once more, and then a long journey home.
Sending on the course for his birthday seemed a good idea at the time!
