So, here we are 48 hours away. Ring, they say, if tickets not arrived. So we did.

Sorry, apologetic guy said (speaks to supervisor). Have been ready to despatch since 11th June....but will post now - will possibly arrive Saturday. (Our postman arrives midday).

Too late. Waiting for a phone call back currently.

Comes on top of daughter's Foo Fighters tickets being delivered on the day she had left on the coach to London and we had to drive, hotfoot, to Exeter to meet the coach having picked up the tickets at 7.00 am. On top of having to drive to her uni at plymouth the previous night to collect her ID.

So, I am waiting to hear their justification for their £4.80 'transaction fee'.

Apparently, we are 'lucky' and can collect from the Cardiff box office on the day; maybe.

Am I just being a grumpy old women or can I expect a little bit of service having bought, with confidence, in advance?

Am I stupid, for putting myself through this stress? (don't answer that).

Thank goodness the Exeter Supporters Club coach is reliable; Seetickets.com could learn a lot. See you in Cardiff; if not in the stadium.....

i should say 'serves you right' but i'm not that mean ! mr playsted complains every year about his tickets being late when he paid for them many months in advance. but every year he and many other thousands give bsi or emi or whatever they are now called their hard earned money so that they can earn six months interest without actually sending the tickets out.
so do yourselves a favour and next year buy your tickets on the day at the box office.

Jayne make sure you print everything off and take to Cardiff with you and you should have no problems. Others were told theirs were going to be sent recorded delivery in a situation similar to yours on BSF.

Take all the evidence you have.

I read in the small print that the Millennium Stadium offer a "No Duplicate Tickets" policy, which must cause a problem if they are lost in the post.

Having heard that some people failed to get in last year, and having had to phone month after month in my first year when I purchased a family ticket and they allocated me a single seat I will NEVER EVER order tickets to Speedway in advance.

The BSPA are useless, as we all know, and I have no doubt that the company they use are the CHEAPEST!

Must have been lucky. Ordered mine online three weeks ago and they came recorded delivery within a week. What really made me sick Bert Harkins was given two good tickets to auction for the Riders Benevolent fund at Arborfield yesterday and Dave Stallworthy, the auctioneer!, struggled to get more than £30 for the pair. They eventually went for £40. Had I known I would have bought them for Headmistress.
