As you know, for the past few years Exeter forum members have raised money once a year for the riders in need in silly things maybe, such as Coreys new boots,Nick Simmons bent forks, sponsoring a race at Mike Coles testimonial.
This year we have no team.
So......
Tony Lethbridge posted on the forum a week or so ago about the Hospicecare walk this Sunday evening at 7pm from Exeter Quay raising funds for Exeter Hospice where Colin Hill spent his last weeks before he died 2 years ago this October.
Also bear in mind a fellow british speedway forum member is in a hospice at this time so personally I think it would be a great idea to raise a few quid for Hospicecare.
The point is this...
Jim Blanchard has promised me a copy of his print of his latest painting of Greg Hancock-link below-in aid of Hospiscare-(He also donated a print to a lad at cycle speedway last year who had lost his dad at a young age.
The question is what is the best way to make most money for Hospicecare in terms of this print?
Thats how I need your advice and views. I would hate to think we only got £20.
£80 or so somehow would be great.
Jim makes hardly any money at all from these prints and ALWAYS donates a few to worthy causes.
Limited edition of 250 copies.
Views people please-If we could raise £100 for this season by selling or raffling the print then that would be superb.
Over to you guys--If we cant do it then I will tell Jim to donate the print to another track that can maximise the money that can be raised for a worthy cause.
Link to the print below and Jim's site.
Surely we can raise £100 for Hospicare for this print-but how exactly?
If we could get maybe twenty of us to buy a ticket for £5 in aid of this cause then those that bought tickets could be pulled out of a hat and the lucky number pulled out gets the print-just an idea.
Mind you if someone wants to just buy it or bid for it with a decent offer then fine--What do you guys think?
They normally sell for £24.99- You are pledging for Hospicecare if you join the draw and you may just win this full size print.
His other works.

Just to reiterate this is not in any way connected to Exeter Speedway-It is merely an internet forum way of raising some cash for Exeter Hospicecare where Colin spent his last days..
Paul or Nigel-If you could get this on the main page with a picture of the print as there is limited news to report at the moment then that would be great- I am more than happy to deal with people that pledge etc for a draw if thats what is decided.
